S.A.F.E. Summer 2003
with support from Santa Fe ISD, City of Santa Fe and the Mark Kilroy Foundation

Sessions will be held in RJ Wollam PE room.
Four 4-day sessions, Monday through Thursday, from 9:00-11:30am. Sessions will include snacks, crafts, activities, guest speakers and fun field trips.

Sessions for Grades 1-6
must have completed 1st grade

Session 1 (June 16-19) Treasures of Summer
Session 2 (June 23-26) Creatures of Imagination
Session 3 (July 7-10) Colors of the World
Session 4 (July 14-17) Stars of Santa Fe

Teen Fridays for Grades 7-12
must have completed 6th grade

Teens meet at RJW in front of the school for each fieldtrip.

Summer Golf Clinic for Teens
6th grade and up

Free Golf Pro Instruction on Tuesdays in June, beginning June 3. Meet at RJ Wollam Elementary from 6:30 -8:30 p.m. Golf clubs and practice balls provided.

Enrollment forms are available in all Santa Fe schools.

Music in the Park
The City of Santa Fe and the Santa Fe Parks Board are sponsoring three evenings of music in the park, with performances by Salt Grass Dulcimer Club and Kaytie Austin. Bring your blanket, lawn chair and refreshments to Mae S. Bruce Park at City Hall, from 6:30-8:30pm on June 12, July 10 and August 14.

S.A.F.E. Summer Golf Clinic 2001
The Mark Kilroy Foundation, in cooperation with Santa Fe ISD and Hitchcock ISD, is sponsoring a series of free golf clinics on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm on June 7, 14, 21 and 28 at R.J. Wollam Schoolgrounds (Avenue S and Walker in Santa Fe). Youth grades 6 through 12 are invited. Equipment will be provided, but bring your own clubs if you have them.

Finally...Pictures from the April 15th Dinner Dance!


S.A.F.E. Summer Program has ended.
Our Summer Program ended July 21 with a flair! 1-9th graders got a chance to show off their wonderful talents with our annual S.A.F.E. Summer Talent Show followed by our last teen fieldtrip to Texas Ice Stadium. Thanks to everyone involved with our program this year from parents who donated water to the janitors who put up with our messes in the SFE PE Room.

Car Show for Charities Benefiting S.A.F.E.
May 13, 2000

Santa Fe Christian Church hosted a car show. There were trophies, door prizes, t-shirts, plaques for all entries, kids model car contest, games, bbq, music, valve cover racing and much more.

Thanks to all who participated and a special thanks to Santa Fe Christian Church and Joey Tombrella for making it happen!
